Terms & Conditions
Following are some general terms and conditions regarding fixed departures, hotel bookings, customised tours, and travel package bookings from TripStorz. We consider that you have read all the terms and conditions and agree before booking any tour package, trekking, activity package etc. from us.
Genreal Terms & Conditions
- All the rates mentioned are valid for Indian nationals only.
- Tariffs for foreign nationals/NRIs are on request.
- Please read emails carefully and understand the contents and prices. All the email conversations will also be a part of your contract with us once you make the booking.
- General hotel Check-in time is 1 pm on the day of check-in, and check-out time is 11 am on the day of check-out (for accommodations).
- The applicable tariff, packages are subject to change without prior intimation.
- In case of non-availability of the rooms at respective hotels for reasons, the hotel would be arranging alternative/similar accommodation.
- If hotels provide air conditioning/heater/heating facilities, the charges for the same will be extra and will be payable at the hotel before check-out if the same is not included in the quotation.
- Please take care of your belongings before leaving the car/bus or hotels/camps. We will not be responsible for the loss of any cash or kind.
- As per the directive given by the Government of India, all Indian/foreign nationals are required to provide proper proof of identification upon check-in. Valid identification documents are a passport & visa together, an Aadhar card, a voter ID card, and a valid Indian driver's license. All the documents must include a photograph.
- Hotels/camps or any kind of accommodation provider can deny a stay if valid ID proof is not provided. We will not be responsible for any ID proof-related issues.
- For extra adult members, many hotels/camps, etc., provide an extra mattress (also referred to as an extra bed in the quotation).
- In the case of fixed departure tours with transportation, sitting arrangements in a bus/tempo traveller/any other shared cab will be on a rotation basis. Our representative will guide you for this.
- In the event of a major vehicle breakdown, we will try our best to arrange another vehicle for you. For minor problems that will not take much time, the vehicle will be repaired and be used for the rest of the tour. Vehicles are mechanical items, and it's difficult to access their failure, which may or may not happen during a tour. We request your cooperation.
- We shall not be responsible for any delays & alterations in the program or expenses incurred directly or indirectly due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accidents/mishaps of any kind, breakdown of transportation vehicles, weather, sickness, landslides, closures/blockades due to political unrest, or any such incidents.
- Air conditioning will not work in all hill areas or stopped/parked vehicles.
- In the case of travel packages that include transportation, the vehicle that will be used for sightseeing will not be available on disposal. It will be available only for sightseeing as mentioned in the quotation.
- You are requested to reach the pickup point on your own expenses at least half an hour before the time that has been pre-advised in the quotation.
- Vehicle charges are inclusive of all toll taxes/parking charges and driver allowances.
- Driver will not drive on No-entry zones and should not be forced to drive on narrow streets or roads which can create traffic jam.
- In some hilly areas, driving after sunset and music is not allowed due to risk of life. Kindly cooperate for the same.
- Pick up and drop point will be one only (if you require pickups from or drops to multiple points, do let us know in advance and get it updated in the quotation).
- The rates are subject to change, depending on the fluctuation of diesel/petrol prices in India. If the prices increase more than 5 % than at the time of booking we will increase the rate even if the rates are confirmed earlier.
- We reserve the right to give you a similar car if, under unforeseeable circumstances, the car that was booked for you is unavailable.
- At many tourist destinations/hill stations, some of the roads/shopping markets/mall roads have "NO ENTRY" for all/some bigger tourist vehicles, which depends on the destination along with time restrictions also. In this kind of situation, you will have to manage another available mode of transport with an additional cost to you on a direct payment basis; this cost is not included in the ideal package inclusion.
- It is presumed that the tourist is medically fit to undertake the tour. If you have a certain kind of allergy or any serious health issues, kindly inform us in advance and seek medical advice and clearance from a registered medical practitioner before taking the tour.
- No refund for a short stay or unveiled facilities will be provided under any circumstances.
- Goods and Services Tax (G.S.T) as extra is applicable as per government notification if the same is not mentioned as included in the travel package.
- Confirmation is subject to the force majeure clause.
- No cancellation or any refund will be made if the situation is beyond our control, such as bad weather, landslide, climatic conditions, or any other natural disaster; fire; any embargo; acts or decisions of government, political or national crisis, roadblocks, heavy snowfall, acts of terrorism, or other similar causes, strikes or problems at airlines, rails, buses, hotels, or transporters, labor unrest, insolvency, business exigencies, operational and technical issues, route and flight cancellations or due to which the customer could not reach the destination and which is beyond our control.
- We will not be held responsible for any accident/injury/death/theft of person or property during the course of the tour.
- All rights are reserved by our management to cancel any service without any refund until full advance money or balance money towards the service is received from the customer and accepted by the company after the due date. The company can change the features or functionality of the services at any time, without any notice.
- We as a service aggregator shall be under no liability whatsoever in respect of any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly out of the decline of authorization for any Transaction, on Account of the Cardholder having exceeded the preset limit mutually agreed by us with our acquiring bank from time to time.
- Tripstorz hereby expressly disclaims any implied warranties imputed by the laws of any jurisdictions or countries other than India. Tripstorz considers itself and intends to the jurisdictions only of the court of Manali, India.
Trekking Package Terms and Conditions
- Any expenses due to unforeseen circumstances shall be borne by you.
- The Himalayas are unpredictable. In some cases, due to bad weather, it may be possible that the trek cannot be completed considering your personal safety. Tripstorz will do their best to make it possible, but your safety is a much bigger concern for us.
- Tripstorz reserves the right to modify or cancel the trek or trek itinerary under unusual and unforeseen circumstances.
- The treks we offer demand a person to be physically fit & mentally strong. Before booking the trek, please tell us if you have any medical condition.
- No refunds will be made for any accommodation, sightseeing, meals, or services not utilised during the course of the execution of the trip.
- You are solely responsible for your personal belongings during the trek.
- Behaviour that can cause danger or annoyance to others or interfere with the procedure may lead to termination of your participation in the trip, with no rights to refund. We expect you to be a responsible trekker.
- We provide basic amenities in the wilderness of the Himalayas; please don’t expect any luxury treatment.
- Baggage and personal items are at your risk throughout the trip. You are solely responsible for your personal belongings during the trip. Kindly do not carry any valuables during the trek; we are not responsible for any loss of baggage, goods, air tickets, passports, cash, traveller’s cheques, or any other travel document or item owned by you while on tour, whatever the cause.
- Trekking in the Himalayas requires a degree of personal risk. You are likely to visit places where you’ll be facing certain risks, dangers, and physical challenges. By participating in a trek with Tripstorz, you accept that you are aware of the personal risks & dangers attendant upon such travel and that you assume the risks involved. You hereby assume all such risks and release Tripstorz from all claims and causes of action arising from such damages or injuries or death resulting from these inherent risks.
- In the case of falling ill or suffering an accident during the trip, all hospital expenses, doctor fees, evacuation from road or mountain, or any other charges incurred as a direct or indirect result of your illness/accident are your sole responsibility.
